Ken Williams - Owner/Photographer

It started back when I was about 15 years old. In high school, I worked on the yearbook club and became fascinated with how the right angle combined with proper lighting could make an average person look like a supermodel! However, in college, I gave up on the idea of becoming a professional photographer to pursue a career in Information Technology.

It started with friends, then expanded to friends of friends asking me to photograph weddings, sporting events, and parties. This afforded me the opportunity to collaborate with a number of professional photographers at various seminars and events. After seeing my work, several encouraged me to further develop my "great eye" and invest in a "real" digital camera. So in 2008 I enrolled in the Art Institute for Digital Photography, purchased a high-end Nikon Digital SLR camera, several lenses, and equipment for a mobile studio. By October 2010 I launched KPW Photography.

 

Since then I have had the pleasure of working with models, brides/grooms, hotel resorts, and restaurants. I find it a true joy to share my talents with others on the quest to capture their intrinsic beauty!
